Place-IL is a non-profit tech initiative that empowers Israeli tech companies to effectively hire talent from underrepresented populations, at scale and with minimal risk.
Founded by leaders in the Israeli tech ecosystem who recognized plenty of potential talent that is being missed, and are committed to unlock it by developing an innovative approach.
Together with Google as the founding partner who has shared the vision from the start, Place-IL brings the leading Israeli tech companies from all sectors, with NGOs from across Israel society, to open opportunities for everyone and enable companies to find the exact tech talent they need.

Our Founders
Idan is a serial tech entrepreneur who founded and sold two startups, the latest to Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW), where he currently serves the Vice President for Code Security, and is responsible for Palo Alto Networks’ Israel employee diversity. Idan previously founded and served as head of Elbit Systems cybersecurity business unit; and served as a commander in the 8200 IDF elite intelligence and cyber unit.
Keren founded Place-IL and served as its first CEO, leading the organization through its first two and a half years of operation. Previously, she served as Deputy Director of Adam Teva V'Din (IUED), an environmental NGO, and as CEO of Shiur Acher (A Different Lesson), a non-profit that trains volunteers from the high-tech sector to teach in underserved schools. Keren is an attorney with a labor law, administrative law and environmental law background.
Eynav is a cybersecurity expert with experience in software development and management. She led critical R&D initiatives and collaborated with international partners on national security programs within the prime minister office. Eynav holds degrees in Computer Science and System Engineering
