Make Place for Chance
Behind every successful career, there is someone who gave a chance and changed everything. We partner with Israel’s tech industry to be that chance, transforming potential into professional success, connecting talent from every background with real opportunities, and building a strong tech ecosystem that reflects all of Israel.
Message from our Chairman
The tech industry is moving fast, with Israel at the forefront of the AI revolution. As part of Anu Banu’s broader mission, Place-IL works to ensure that talent from the periphery is not left behind, and that driven, high-potential individuals become part of this transformation. The flagship Student Program reflects our belief in academic talent, equipping students with the tools and experience needed to integrate into the workforce and achieve real economic mobility.
I would like to thank Eynav Haim Sayag for her meaningful contribution to Place-IL, and warmly welcome Shlomit Almog as she steps into the role of CEO.
We invite more companies to join us in discovering motivated talent and making a real impact in Israeli society.

Tech Future
As Israel’s tech ecosystem continues to evolve, the need to invest in talent earlier in the employment journey has become critical. Students represent the next generation of professionals who will shape the future of the Israeli economy.
This year, we launched the Student Program to open professional pathways for students from across Israel, connecting them with meaningful opportunities in the tech industry.
For employers, the program creates access to highly motivated talent that is adaptable, AI-ready, and able to deliver value quickly.

“Place-IL has been a big part of my success in my career.
Finding a student position was challenging, even as a student at a top university with programming experience. Place-IL created a tailored connection that allowed me to fully utilize my skills in a meaningful role.
That connection with Elbit was the first time I felt like the employer really looked at my skills amongst endless CVs and candidates.”
“Through our partnership with Place-IL, we were introduced to talented students with great potential. We believe in supporting the next generation and see real value for both sides.”
“I’m proud to be part of Place-IL – an organization that supports graduates throughout their journey into the tech industry. The team provides guidance, clarity, and a strong sense that you’re not alone in the job search process, while also investing in personal growth alongside professional development. Thanks to Place-IL, I was connected to an opportunity that led me to my role in the tech industry.”
“As part of Wix’s program to support communities affected by the war, we looked for a meaningful way to create high-quality employment opportunities. Place-IL’s unique screening and subsidy model brought us five talented junior developers from communities we would not have reached through other channels.”
“Place-IL’s recruitment process was professional, transparent and supportive. The personal guidance and accurate role matching played a key role in a smooth and successful onboarding.”
“Our experience has been excellent – we gained an amazing and highly professional team member. In less than six months, Tareez already feels like one of us, both in terms of our company DNA and in the quality of her work.”
“From the very start of the Place-IL program, I always had someone to turn to. I received close guidance, relevant industry-focused learning opportunities, and real support throughout the interview process. Even after I was hired, the team continued to check in and support me. That ongoing sense of care and guidance meant a lot to me.”
״We want to express our appreciation to Place-IL for introducing Shani to our team. She arrived with exceptional professionalism, positive energy, and an eagerness to learn and advance. It was immediately apparent how perfectly she meshed with the team. Shani’s ongoing professional development and valuable contributions continue to impress us, and we’re excited about what lies ahead for her. Thank you for this outstanding match.״
“At every stage of the process, Place-IL provided support, clarity, and thoughtful guidance. Their support continued even after I was hired. What I gained from this journey wasn’t just a job – it was confidence and the ability to believe in myself, a gift that will stay with me for life.”
“David integrated quickly – socially, professionally and technically. He shows readiness to learn, takes responsibility, has strong self-discipline, and isn’t afraid of challenges or hard work.”
This placement was made as part of our partnership with the “Lohamim LaHitech” program and Mamram, a cyber analyst course designed for combat soldiers from Southern Israel.
“The course was excellent and highly in-depth, covering the world of cybersecurity and beyond. It develops strong analytical thinking and is closely aligned with the current job market in the field. In addition, Place-IL’s guidance was very supportive, providing a real boost and peace of mind throughout the first job search process, with a clear focus on integrating course graduates into the workforce.”
״Osher joined us through the “Lohamim LaHitech” program and was placed as an Analyst in the Sectoral Cyber Unit at the Ministry of Energy. He integrated seamlessly into the team, demonstrating professionalism, strong commitment, and a high ability to learn, while contributing meaningfully to our day-to-day work. We are glad to have him with us and are confident in his continued growth and success in the role.״

Message from our CEO
The past year was a challenging one for Israeli society. Despite this reality, Place-IL continued to integrate individuals from Israel’s social and geographic periphery into the tech industry – proving that there is room for everyone in Israeli high-tech when real opportunities are created.
Looking ahead to 2026, we face a new challenge. While artificial intelligence is narrowing entry-level opportunities for junior talent, it is also enabling more people to take part in the technological economy. This is where responsibility lies. AI can reduce gaps – or widen them, leaving entire populations behind.
In the year ahead, we will harness the power of the tech industry to narrow these gaps, both by strengthening individual employability and by supporting organizations in need of digital transformation.
We thank our partners who choose to collaborate and make an impact with us.
Our call to action for the year ahead is simple: make place for a chance.
